Karazin popup.description2 SMALL-BASED ANTENES, BROADBAND ANTENES, OPTIMIZATION OF THE LEVEL OF SIDE LOBES, IMPEDANCE SYNTHESIS The object of the study is small, high-performance, broadband and multiband aerials of axial and side radiation and an antenna arrays on their basis. The purpose of the work is to develop design principles, manufacturing technology and calculation methods for antennas and antenna arrays with predefined electrodynamic and mass-dimensional parameters. The main results and their novelty are: - obtaining new experimental samples of small-scale, high-performance, wide-band antenna arrays and antennas with reduced levels of radiation in the near-field. - improving the technology of designing both known and new types of combined antennas based on the combination of electric and magnetic emitters in some designs; - development of the method for calculating broadband emitters and the method of optimizing the level of side pendants of the directional diagram of broadband antenna arrays; - study of the physical processes of forming the field of radiation of linear antenna array by the method of impedance synthesis. The experimental samples manufactured in accordance with the specifications, in terms of their characteristics and technical and economic indicators exceed the foreign developments and have the prospects for implementation in dual-purpose communication and navigation systems.
