New tungsten and titanium carbides-based electrode materials with metal binders of nickel and iron alloys have been developed taking into account improved knowledge about coatings formation which depends on the heat flows intensity to the electrodes. The coatings above provide increasing wear resistance and repairing of worn-out parts of machines.
