Object of research - blood-sucking mosquitoes, ticks, serums of people, history of the disease, maps of epidemiological investigations of the foci of an infectious disease, medication anti-infection protection, strains of arboviruses, test systems. Research methods and equipment: virological, microbiological, immuno-serological, molecular genetics, epidemiological and zoology-parasitological with the use of appropriate equipment and proven measuring instruments. The ecological and epidemiological features of the fever of the Western Nile and some other emergent infections in the Lviv and Volyn oblasts are established, the main criteria for the modeling of their natural foci. The optimal tactics of epidemiological investigation of cases of fever diseases of the Western Nile and unified algorithms of their immune-serological diagnostics in the form of a newsletter and Methodological recommendations are developed. The test-systems for laboratory diagnostics of the Western Nile fever by immunofluorescence were developed, manufactured and patented. The project of analytical normative documentation on the specified test-systems was developed. A strategy for the implementation of preventive measures of natural-focal mosquito-borne viral infections has been developed, and the method of non-specific prevention and treatment of the Western Nile fever has been patented.
