Objects of research are lubricating monolayer organic films. The essence of the work is to develop the mechanical and electronic part of the device. At the first stage of the work the design of a magnetic levitating pendulum has been developed and tested. Simulation is carried out and the design of a magnetic pillow was realized in the form of a layout. The system of approaching of a ball probe to the substrate and the system of protection from acoustic noise have been developed. Also developed electronic control units for pendulum, particularly clamping force measurement unit, stepper motor control unit for the ball approaching system, unit of reading information about the angle of the pendulum deflection. Calibration of individual units was performed.
