Methods of research - experimental determination of temperature indices of the gasification process, raw material consumption, volumes of synthesis gas received, its composition, determination of elemental composition of raw materials; analytical and numerical modeling of processes on the basis of thermodynamic methods, analysis on the basis of analytical and numerical methods of gasification modes of carbonaceous raw materials using vapor-plasma technologies and additional introduction of oxygen in the volume of the reactor. According to the results of the work, it has been shown that in the case of a stoichiometric regime of steam-plasma conversion of the sewage sludges of the water purification stations, the energy self-sufficiency of the equipment with a significant stock in terms of its magnitude is achieved. The introduction of an additional amount of oxygen into the process (non-stoichiometric regime) results in the production of synthesis gas in a larger quantity than is necessary for the self-sustaining operation of the plant, and, accordingly, additional electricity generation for external consumers. The quantitative relationships characterizing the process of steam-plasma conversion of waste are determined. It has been shown that gasification of fossil fuels and wastes with high content of chlorine and sulfur in chemically active molten salts has the following advantages over other gasification methods as prevention of the formation of secondary toxic compounds and a significant simplification of the system of purification of gasification products from acidic components. The results of research on technologies for the neutralization of toxic chlorine-based wastes have been used in the implementation of international technical assistance projects.
