The purpose is to develop scientific and methodological approaches to the development, production and use of promising technical systems and complexes of various purposes. The applied methods are analytical and numerical methods of computational mathematics; mechanics of a deformable solid; construction mechanics; probability theory; computer simulation; mathematical modeling; synergistic control theory; technical diagnostics; destruction mechanics; theory of reliability and expert systems; statistical dynamics; theory of elasticity; finite elements; the methods of celestial mechanics. The main results obtained: the conditions have been defined which provide stability of the locomotive during collision with the obstacle and prevent derailment; estimates have been obtained of the stress-strain state of concrete structures’ elements and powder technology environments containing long-term inclusion; a method has been developed to determine the minimum number of tests to confirm the reliability of the ergatic system; an experimental sample of the device to estimate the tone of the autonomic nervous system has been developed, manufactured and tested; proposals have been formulated to strengthen the design of side frames of freight car trucks for the model 18-100; the methodology to design aerodynamic systems to withdraw space objects has been developed; an experimental sample of a vibration protection system of a locomotive driver’s seat suspension has been manufactured. When performing research, the results were used which had been obtained in holding research III-75-11, III-78-11, III-80-12, III-83-13 which were performed in the ITM of the NASU and SSAU in 2011 - 2014. The obtained research results can be used: for the development of passive safety devices for locomotives; with optimal design of concrete structures of thermal power engineering buildings; when assessing the reliability of information systems of complex technical objects; when creating medical diagnostic devices; when creating new-generation freight cars and improving the existing running gears, when developing systems to remove aerospace equipment from near-Earth orbits; when modernizing drivers' cabs of a locomotive. The scope of research results implementation is railway transport, aerospace technology, industrial construction, medicine. The use of the research results will significantly improve the safety of rail transportation, working conditions for locomotive drivers, reduce man-made contamination of near-Earth space, improve design quality of concrete structures of power system engineering buildings, create more effective and significantly cheaper means of diagnosing human diseases. The research on objects: concrete structures of thermal power engineering with reinforcing elements and powder technology environment with inclusions, systems to withdraw spacecrafts from low-Earth orbits is complete.
