Objective: to study the dynamics of indicators of the development of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and somatized mental disorders in conditions of stress and social tension and to justify the concept of minimizing their impact on the health of the people of Ukraine. Research methods - sociological, psychological, information-analytical, clinical, functional, laboratory, statistical. The following tasks were formulated and solved: a) to conduct monitoring of the current state of public health and medical and social factors in diseases of the circulatory system b) to study the problem of the effect of stress on the health status and quality of life of the population; c) investigate the development of cerebrovascular disorders in cardiac patients. The data obtained indicate a multifactor problem of the level of health and the effectiveness of treatment of circulatory system diseases, where stress acts as a destabilizing factor in the course of cardiovascular and cerebral vascular pathology and the development of nonpsychotic mental disorders. Improving health should be addressed systemically, including timely diagnosis and minimization of negative factors in the development of psychosomatic disorders.
