Galkin Physics and Engineering Institute of National Academy of Science of the Ukraine popup.description2 The object of research is tetragonal zirconia nanopowders 3Y-TZP with additives SnO2, SiO2, GeO2. The densification kinetics of tetragonal zirconia 3Y-TZP nanopowders with SnO2, SiO2, GeO2 additives and the effect of these dopants depending on their amount (0.2-5 weight%) on the dominant mass transfer mechanisms at the initial sintering stage of 3Y-TZP nanopowders has been studied. The influence of SnO2, SiO2, GeO2 additives on the formation of the structure of sintered ceramic materials on tetragonal zirconia based by XRD, SEM and EDS analysis has been also investigated. It was found that the additives significantly affected the compaction of the 3Y-TZP-SiO2/GeO2/SnO2 systems and led to a change in the dominant mass transfer mechanism depending on the type, properties and amount of the additives. It has been revealed that dopants cause a change in the structure parameters of the sintered ceramic materials, namely, grain sizes, particle size distribution, phase composition, depending on the type of additives. The interrelation of changes in the characteristics of 3Y-TZP nanopowders with the dopants addition with a change in the densification kinetics, the mass transfer mechanisms and the properties of the structure of the obtained ceramics was established.
