It has been established that an external magnetic field generates a giant magnetocapacitance effect, in which the isotropic dielectric constant rises by almost 200%. The combination of structural and magnetic data indicates the presence of a linear magnetoelectric effect in the rare-earth sesquioxide Ce2O3, which is observed for the first time in crystals without transition metal ions. The effect of laser irradiation on the optical and structural properties of CNxH on films on the glass substrates as a function of the intensity I and laser pulses was investigated. The possibility of a decrease in the amorphous phase and an increase in the crystalline phase of CNx H films with pulsed laser annealing is shown. Using the methods of inelastic light scattering spectroscopy, the limit of the intensity of laser radiation and the onset of structural changes for CNx H films leading to nanostructuring were determined.
