The object of the study is the psychological rigors of professional athletes in shooting. Research methods. To solve the tasks, the following methods were used: theoretical (analysis, comparison, systematization and generalization of scientific-theoretical and special research data) and empirical research (the method of the included observation was used for the study of the personality of the athlete-shooter in the real conditions of sports activity); method of expert assessments (consisted of a survey of specially selected experts on the basis of their formal professional status, which provided the necessary information about the object of evaluation); individual psychological interview (to clarify the conclusions made by experts or the dissertation); the method of mathematical modeling (for the construction of the presented system, which reflects the complex of essential parameters of the object of research and can replace it in the process of cognition); psychodiagnostic examination (for the identification of the main values of the parameters of the study was applied a set of psycho-diagnostic techniques: "Tomsky rigidity question" G.V. Zalevsky (TORZ) - a personal questionnaire, aimed at diagnosis of mental rigidity; "Standardized method of personality research" (SDO) (aut. LM Sobchik and LM Lukianov) - a modified and re-standardized version of the MMPI test, which allowed to describe the full portrait of the athlete-arrow, which included, in addition to the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the stable professionally important qualities, a wide range of such structural components of personality as motivational orientation, the type of response to stress, protective mechanisms, the mood of the mood, the degree of adaptability of the athlete, the possible type of maladaptation, etc. The test was also used to assess the actual mental state of the subject, the method "Sub level" J. Rother's Adaptation (adaptation by E. F. Bazhina, S. S. Golinkina, A. M. Etkind) allowed to study the athlete's inner orientation, the ability to realize and assume responsibility for the approved decisions and actions taken; Methodology "Anxiety Investigation" (authored by Ch.D.Spilberg, adapted version by Yu.L.Khanin) - was aimed at revealing features of personality and situational anxiety of the subjects; questionnaire VI Morosan's "Self-Regulatory Behavior Style - SSP-98" - was used to study the style of self-regulation of athletes); statistical methods for data processing (correlation analysis - to establish the relationship between the studied phenomena (the correlation coefficient was calculated using the Pearson formula), one-dimensional dispersion analysis, by which the effect of one or more independent (nominal) variables on one dependent (metric) variable, as well as the interaction of nominal variables with each other, the calculation of differences in the t-criterion Student, designed to assess the differences between the two samples by the level of a certain sign, quantitatively measured (for Elemental samples with normal distribution); calculation of differences in the Fisher criterion, intended for comparison of two samples by the frequency of the occurrence of the analyzed effect; nonparametric statistical criterion used to compare two independent samples by the level of the sign, measured quantitatively (U-Mann criterion - Whitney). The obtained quantitative data was processed using the SPSS 8.0 computer program). Scientific novelty of the obtained results is that: - for the first time: a) a comprehensive study of psychic rigidity in the system of emotional experiences of professional athletes in bullet shooting during competitive activities; b) data of the comparative analysis of the development of mental rigidity in athletes of higher qualification depending on their professional experience and age; - the data on the components of the psychoemotional experience experienced by professional athletes in ballistic firing during the period of competitive activity are specified and systematized; - the data on the means and methods of psychological support of athletes of higher qualification are supplemented; - improved diagnostic complex of methods and methods of research of psychic rigidity in athletes of higher qualification; - further developed a system of scientific views on the use of an integrated approach to the study of adverse personality factors of athletes of higher qualification.
