The project objective - synthesis and study of catalytic activity of poly- N-hydroxyimides in aerobic oxidation. Study methods - gasovolumometry, NMR and IR, During the fist stage of the project we have studied cataytic activity of N,N,-dihydroxypiromelliimide in catalytic aerobic oxidation of isopropylbenzene. Results of the invetigation clearly show that addition of radical initiators (azo or peroxy compounds) or ions of the metals lead to the increase of initial oxygen uptake rates. This results could be use for molecular catalyst desing and forecast of their catalytic activity for different industrial applications.
