The calculations of the stressed state of ring products during the flash butt welding were performed, as a result, it was found that plastic deformation occurs in the shunting part of most of the investigated products. An analysis of existing calculation and graph-analytic methods for determination of displacements during bending of curvilinear rods beyond the elasticity is carried out. It is established that in the case of such cross-sections as a rectangle, a circle or a ring, using schematized diagrams of displacement deformation can be determined explicitly.
