The purpose of the research is to develop standards for methodics of measuring the composition and properties of precious, semi-precious and decorative stones in gemological research area. Expected results - standardization of measurement methodics used in gemmological studies, in order of their unification according to GOST 8.010-99 requirements and to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Metrology and Metrological Activity" as regards the use of measurement results in the field of regulated metrology . The results of the research are presented in the form of the standards of organization of Ukraine (SOU), which contain regulated methodics of measuring that guarantee the measuring results of composition and properties of precious, semi-precious and decorative stones with known relevant characteristics of errors.
