The scientific tasks have been solved - the substantiation of approaches to optimization of the quality management system of medical care in a multi-profile health care institution by improving organizational and managerial decision making on the basis of self-assessment of the communication profile of the functional assessment of management, organization of medical and sociological monitoring of the risk factors for the development of the most common non-communicable diseases in attachment for medical care of the population on the example of overseeing obesity in children. According to the results of the evaluation of the quality of carrying out preventive medical examinations of school-age children and analysis of revealed inconsistencies in relation to existing recommendations of industry standards, the improvement of the system of preventive medical examinations of children through the organization of medical and sociological monitoring of obesity as a risk factor for non-infectious diseases associated with excess body weight in children and adults has been substantiated.
