Subject of research: scientific and methodological principles of the courses "Geography of Ukraine" for secondary and high school and their teaching and methodological support; the goals and content of the formation of geographic picture of the world for pupils of secondary school and teaching high school students for future professional activities related to geography of Ukraine; pedagogical technologies of their introduction into textbooks, study guides, collections of tasks. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the content of the study courses of geography of Ukraine in secondary and profile school, to develop the teaching and methodological support for their implementation in the didactic process. In the process of the third generalization-implementation stage of research work, the state of development of the problem in the foreign and domestic pedagogical theory and practice is analyzed, and the basis of updating of the content of geographic education in secondary and high school is determined. The state of study of geography of Ukraine in secondary and high school was monitored and the pedagogical expediency of the ways of its further development was substantiated. The methodological foundations for the selection, structuring and implementation of the content of the geographic courses "Ukraine in the World: Nature, Population" and "Ukraine and the World Economy" in secondary school and geography of Ukraine in primary school are determined and theoretically grounded. Concept of study of geography of Ukraine in secondary school and high school was developed. It is publicized on different media. Implementation of the Concept Materials into general educational institutions has been implemented.
