The aim is to investigate the distribution of microelements in environmental objects in the territories under the influence of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy and to establish the physicochemical conditions for the formation of technogenic geochemical anomalies. Research methods: general chemical analysis, mineralogical, granulometric, potentiometric, atomic absorption, mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma, mathematical, statistical and cartographic processing. Geochemical approaches of complex study of environmental objects under the influence of the enterprises of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy taking into account the landscape-geochemical conditions of the territory are formulated. Maps for the distribution of heavy metals in soils at survey sites have been constructed and geochemical associations of technogenic anomalies have been determined. Specific features of formation of technogenic geochemical anomalies of heavy metals in contaminated soils, depending on their physico-chemical characteristics (pH, capacity of cation exchange, organic, granulometric composition) are revealed. Experimental data on the buffer capacity of soils have been obtained, which decreases by a factor of 5-10 in contaminated soils. The features of the formation of heavy metals are revealed: the content of mobile forms increases, the ecological risk of pollutants entering the trophic chain increases. Biogeochemical and microbiological indices of soils, characteristic of technogenic geochemical anomalies formed under the influence of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, are calculated. Modeling of the process of complexation of heavy metals in soil solutions of surface deposits of technogenically polluted territories is carried out. It has been established that the main forms of migration are hydrated metal cations. Modified composite sorbents are proposed to reduce the flow of mobile forms of heavy metals in the trophic chain of "soil-solution-plants". The results of the study can be used by business entities, management and environmental organizations in the environmental assessment of environmental components of urbanized territories of Ukraine.
