According to research in the experiment and clinic, the process of remodeling of the myocardium and vessels in hypertension, depending on age, was studied. The role of low-intensity inflammation due to oxidative stress was studied in hypoxic and hemorrhagic complications of hypertension. Morphological changes in the vessels of the myocardium and brain of the hypertensive rats in ontogenesis are proved by the fact that in young rats vascular (endothelial) dysfunction develops, and the prevalence of apoptosis over necrosis is а caused myocardial fibrosis and vascular walls. The study of the role of active forms of oxygen in the mechanisms of neurodegeneration as complications of hypertension, showed that with hemorrhagic stroke, unlike ischemic damage in the brain tissue, the prevalence of mechanisms of necrosis occurs. It conditions progresses with arterial hypertension. The mechanisms of the development of the disease in the age aspect are targets for pharmacological correction, which can be effective for disconnect the pathological chain and preventing arterial hypertension. Depending on the stage of vascular changes - vascular dysfunction - vascular remodeling - hypoxic or hemorrhagic cerebrovascular complications, we proposed various pharmacological influence and evaluated their effectiveness. Damage to neurons in the most severe condition - hemorrhagic stroke on a background of hypertension occurs mainly by the mechanisms of necrosis, progresses with arterial hypertension.
