The coverage with dextran provides an enhanced biocompatibility towards the blood in treatment of endo- and exogenous intoxications. Moreover, by covering with dextran, the adsorptive potential of hemosorbent remains unchanged. The laboratory technology has been developed for obtaining combined lipid-carbon hemosorbents on the basis of highly active granular hemosorbent HSGD with immobilized lipids. Lipophilization of the surfaces of granular carbon adsorbents results in increased adsorption of cellular toxins and substances of hydrophobic nature on the background of high adsorptive potential of carbonic matrix. The laboratory regulation has been developed for obtaining applicative chitosan-carbon composites on the basis of domestic fibrous carbon materials (ACFM-"Dnepr"-MN) with the powerful adsorptive and antiseptic activities, and with the distinct hemostatic effect in conditions of parenchymal bleeding that can particularly be enhanced as a result of administration of heparin and warfarin. The original method has been developed for making carbon enterosorbent suspensions possessing an enhanced stability thus facilitating administration of enterosorbent through a feeding tube to tackle the acute intestinal infections particularly among children.
