Popov popup.description2 The aim of the project is to improve the methods and protocols for the quantum safe transmission of confidential data and secret cryptographic keys for optical fibers, in particular, to increase the transmission speed through the use of three-dimensional quantum systems, the improvement of methods for protecting confidential data from passive and active attacks, and the improvement of methods of data-preventing data encoding. A new quantum method of distributing secret encryption keys in systems using the fiber-optic transmission medium as a transmission medium is proposed.The key transfer security is provided by timely detection of an unauthorized user connected to an optical fiber, using a change in control signal parameters. The structural scheme of the quantum system that implements the proposed method is developed and allows for the secure transmission of the encryption key even in the case of detecting the unauthorized user connection to one of the optical fibers of the given system. The effect of parameters of photodetectors and length of optical fiber on the time of detection of unauthorized user, which must be taken into account when creating quantum communication systems, realizing reliable detection of the device for eavesdropping of the intruder, is determined.
