In the focus of the study is a person as a subject of thought and action, as well as culture as intersubjective human world of meanings in its diversity of social relations and structures. From the point of view of logic and philosophy of science, the basic types of cognitive and practical actions of individuals are analyzed. The peculiarities of human thinking and action are explicated in terms of freedom, choice, truth, responsibility, and dignity. This approach allows one to identify the fundamental factors influencing the course of mental and material practices and the formation of social relations.
