Within the given research there has been carried out a complex analysis of theoretical and methodological, as well as research and practical aspects of documenting folklore in such spheres as the history of establishing and developing folklore discourses in Ukraine; present-day condition, achievements and perspective tendencies in the development of this branch in Ukraine in the context of world scholarly and technological approaches. The integral conception of documenting folklore tradition has been done both theoretically and practically. That was performed on the basis of national specificity of Ukrainian folklore and world research in the sphere of documenting phenomena of non-material cultural heritage.
