It was first successfully used in multicomponent reactions of the 5-arylfuran-2-carbaldehydes and 3-(5-arylfuran-2-yl)acroleine and expanded the boundaries of the using in the Gantsch, Biginelli, Radziszewski, and Ugi reactions. A novel multicomponent Ugi-Diels-Alder tandem reaction for the synthesis of isoindoles and furo[2,3-f]isoindoles were developed. An approach has been developed for the construction to compounds with the furan ring annulated with isoindoles ring, based on furfural and furylacrolein. A simple diastereoselective domino-reaction for the synthesis of hydrogenated thieno[2,3-f]isoindoles was proposed. A new three- and four-steps domino Knevenagel-hetero-Diels-Alder reactions were developed. Based on Gewald's aminothiophenes and functionalized 3-aminothiophenes and using the strategies of one-pot reactions, tandem and domino reactions, the methods for the synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocycles, annulated with thiophene ring, have been developed. The general characteristics of the reactions of the methylene compounds with 1-nitroethenes and 2-nitrothiophenes, in which the attack of CH-acid occurs in the b-position to the nitro group, which in the next stage is intramolecularly recovered to the oxime group is revealed. The six- and five-membered heterocyclic compounds (pyridones, quinolones, 3-hydroxycumarines, substituted sidnons) have been investigated in the reactions with arenediazonium salts and the conditions of the reactions were founded. Among the synthesized compounds, were founded anti-tumor and antimicrobial active compounds, and there can be used in organic electronics, such as dyes and complexing agents for the determination of metal ions.
