The purpose of the work is to develop the scientific and technological bases of manufacturing processes lightning protection knitted mesh of copper-brazed with increased energy dissipation effect of lightning with environmentally lead-free solders permitted for the manufacture and repair of structural elements of the polymer composites in aviation technology and wind energy. Research methods - optical microscopy, physical and mechanical tests, determination of wetting by a drop-drop method with the use of a method of capillary cleaning of a droplet melt, determination of electrical resistance of solder and nets by 4-point method, bit tests with the effect of simulated lightning on a certified stand at NDPKI "Lightning". The work is conditioned by the need to ensure reliable accident-free operation of aviation equipment in thunderstorm conditions and to prevent the destruction of cost wind farms, in particular windblocks. Through the use of lead-free solder the conditions of safe production and use in the manufacturing process of knitted-soldered networks and expansion of the commercial viability of their use in the objects of technology. Lead-free solder for copper microdrills and technology for making knitting-soldering copper nets with lead-free solder with optimal structural and weight parameters. It has been established that the boundary corners of the welding of copper wires are reduced in the case of using lead-free solder SAC ( =23 ) compared to solder POS-61 ( =37 ). It is shown that the use of lead-free solvents leads to a decrease in the thickness of soldered layers in loop knots and makes it possible to reduce the weight of lightning-protective protective mesh coating by 10-15%. According to the results of bench-level tests simulated by lightning at normalized pulsed modes, the efficiency of using new current-carrying materials with lead-free soldering was established.
