The aim - fragmentation of more advanced methods of improving the productivity and gualiti of single-parent fodder beet and the creation of new varieties and hybrids that meet the needs of agricultural production. Research methods - laboratory and field using hybridization saturating crosses, inbreeding and selection. Reseach results - a new breeding single-seeden source material of fodder beets was created. Among the available breeding material the MS forms of fodder beets and candidates for sterility are distinguished. Have allocated self-weeding plants and determined the prospect of using tihs feature in the selection of single parent fodder beets. In the competitive and preliminary variety teste the best breeding numbers were allocated for the yield of root crops and dry matter content.
