Podolyanka. As a result of biolistic transformation it was possible to select 3 transgenic lines of wheat (the efficiency of biological transformation was 0.5%). As a result of Agrobacterium-mediated in vitro transformation of bread wheat of the Podolanka cultivar and immature embryos of maize of different genotypes with the vector construct pCB135, comprising nptII genes and CP4epsps in T-DNA, was at least 3 wheat transformants containing the nptII gene (transformation frequency 3,09%), and regenerated from callus three maize shoots resistant to glyphosate of the genotype DK267xPLS61 (in a selective medium containing 0.025 mM glyphosate). The determination of the relative increase in plant height, biomass of the root system and the length of the root of the regenerative plants obtained on the medium for regeneration supplemented with antibiotic ceftriaxone was carried out. The presence of the antibiotic ceftriaxone in the medium in which the shoots were obtained stimulates the growth of regenerate plants and the growth of their biomass. Work continued on the creation of genetic constructions with the genes of tolerance to glyphosate, which would be suitable for the transformation of monocots and provided a stable expression. The molecular genetic analysis of the obtained regenerants was carried out.
