QOL various parameters in children with epilepsy depend directly on the etiology of epileptic seizures, their frequency and comorbidities, as well as secondary changes due to massive intake of anti-epileptic drugs. A new 2017 classification of epileptic seizures and epilepsy introduced, allows to improve diagnostication of epilepsy. Implementation of this protocol for the clinical practice will ensure the polypharmacy prevention during medication. Unified clinical protocol for primary, emergency, secondary (specialized) and tertiary (highly specialized) health care in children with epilepsy was introduced.
