D., Registration Date 06-03-2018 Organization National Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education named after P.L.Shupyk popup.description2 The study results show the need for early detection of male hypogonadism in adolescents and the timely adequate treatment with long-acting testosterone preparations, which are safe, convenient, and do not increase testosterone levels into the supraphysiological range. Since the therapy for congenital hypogonadism is long-termed (throughout the male reproductive period), a permanent monitoring is required. This will improve the quality of treatment and prevent the development of metabolic disorders (development of metabolic syndrome and its components) in the men who receive testosterone therapy. Determining optimal approaches of testosterone replacement therapy for young men with the newly discovered congenital forms of hypogonadism will reduce the risk of metabolic disorders, chronic complications and will provide a satisfactory quality of life for these patients.
