А., Registration Date 15-03-2018 Organization National Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education named after P.L.Shupyk popup.description2 The developed diagnostic and treatment algorithm for necrotic enterocolitis in newborns allowed to diagnose diseases on the preperforative stage in 10 (13.89%) of patients, to individualize surgical tactics depending on the condition of a newborn, the necrotic enterocolitis stage, the type of perforation, its localization, the volume of bowel lesions and to decrease the number of early postoperative complications from 47.62% in the comparison children to 23.72% in the study group (p <0.05) and also reduce postoperative mortality rate by 2.71 times, that is from 71.43% to 26.3 1% (p <0.05) respectively.Using the algorithm for diagnostic staging and treatment of intestinal invagination in children made it possible to reduce the percentage of laparotomy surgical procedures from 48.60% in the comparison group (CP) to 11, 59% in the study group (SG), the number of postoperative complications from 13.08% to 4.49%, to reduce the postoperative mortality rate from 5 (4.67%) patients in the CP to 1 (1.12%) patient in the SG. The developed algorithm includes the disease stage scoring system, laparoscopic doppler evaluation of the degree of intestinal hemodynamics disorder. The study results show a reduction of laparotomy surgical procedures, early postoperative complications and postoperative lethality. Product Description popup.authors Гончар В. В. Горбатюк О. М.
