The influence of the solvent, the content of palladium in the catalyst, and the reaction temperature on the kinetics of the process were studied. According to the obtained results, optimal conditions for the hydrogenation reaction of 4-nitrobisphtalonitrile were established. Also, the obtained results showed the possibility of production of the 4-aminobisphtalonitrile in one stage with 100% selectivity.
