According to the technical specification and 2017 annual work plan - device housing, active element, optical pumping elements, thermoregulation elements, laser mirrors and Q-switch should be developed and manufactured. An analytical review of publications on physics and technology of solid-state diode pump lasers was made. The technical characteristics of modern compact laser emitters with parameters close to those developed were analyzed; the basic requirements for the design of the optical head of the emitter are formed. According to the obtained results - a transverse optical pumping was chosen. A computer simulation of the optical circuit of an optical head was carried out; Passive q-switch modulators based on polymer matrices and doped with polymethine dyes was made and tested; Optical elements (laser mirrors, lenses, prisms) were manufactured. The work results will be used in the second stage of the "development of a compact powerful laser emitter" project.
