It is shown that the use of benzoethanol mixtures for vehicle transport engines contributes to improving their environmental performance. Compromise solutions wich provide a sufficient level of cylinder power, the economy of an engine running on benzoethanol, and the low toxicity of its exhaust gases was developed . It is shown that there is no destructive effect of biodiesel fuel with residual ethanol in it on fuel communication materials and cylinder-piston unit parts.
