The purpose of the work is mastering of improving production technology of low-cement corundum chromium-containing castable with new alumina addition. The research methods are chemical, petrographic, physical-mechanical methods. The research of flow under vibration granular low-cement corundum chromium-containing masses with and without alumina brand Nabalox NO 635 addition, depending on the mass's time-keeping for 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0; 3.0; 20.0; 24.0; 40.0; 48.0 and 50.0 hours, has been done. It has been established, that with alumina adding increases of mass's flow under vibration by 20 %, the maximum mass's flow (92.5 %) without an additive correspond to 0.5 hour time-keeping and with alumina adding (111.0 %) - to 1.0 hour. Masses with and without addition after 3.0 hours' time-keeping have been lost the ability to flow. The results of the performed researches have been used to improving of manufacturing technology vibrocast unfired concrete products, from low-cement corundum-chromium castable mix with the addition of new brand Nabalox NO 635 alumina. According to the results of carried out researches, in PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A. S. BEREZHNOY" have been advanced the improving manufacturing technology of low-cement corundum chromium-containing castable mix with the addition of new brand Nabalox NO 635 alumina. Indicators properties of castable mix accord to technical requirements and the mix intends for the lining of technical carbon production reactors. In PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A. S. BEREZHNOY", according to the contract with the Buyer, pilot batches of low-cement corundum chromium-containing castable brand SKBNH and low-cement corundum chromium-containing lute, with indicators properties accord to technical requirements and Buyer, have been made. These refractory products have been supplied to consumers in the domestic market. Work should continue in the directions of further manufacturing improving of low-cement corundum and corundum chromium-containing castables and fired mullite-corundum refractories, expanding the volume of their production and application.
