The purpose of the work is an improved production technology mastering of the ramming mullite corundum mix grade of “MMК-90”. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographic, thermo-mechanical ones. Taking into attention the results of researches, which had been carried out (report about research works № 4.1-714-2016), in PJSC “The URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY” the improved production technology of the ramming mullite corundum mix grade of “MMК-90”, containing as a fine milling constituent a combined milling of alumina and quartz sand with an additive of silica-organic liquid grade of “HSL-11 K”, has been mastered. The indicated mix was intended for tests in the lining of induction furnace at one from machinebuilding plants of Ukraine. The disadvantages at exploitation of the improved ramming mullite corundum mix grade of “MMК-90” haven’t been observed. The influence of addition amount of alumina zirconia silica material on the properties of ramming mullite corundum mix grade of “MMК-90” and samples from this mix has been researched. It was founded that, the use of optimal amount of the indicated addition in the ramming mullite corundum mix composition allows increasing of thermal shock resistance of samples, produced from this mix (~ 2.7 times more), while maintaining a sufficiently high level of their strength and slag resistance indicators. As a result of carried out researches the production technology of new kind of product (ramming mullite corundum mix grade of “MMКTS” with addition containing zirconium oxide) has been developed. In PJSC “The URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY” the pilot batches of mullite corundum ramming mix, dry corundum spinel mix, mullite corundum mortar, mullite corundum mortar with an additive of phosphate binder, periclase powder on a phosphate binder, which are intended to metallurgical and machinebuilding plants of Ukraine, have been produced.
