Subject of research - regularities of quantity changes and composition of the gas phase in physico-chemical transformations in the process of thermal action on solid carbonaceous raw materials. It is the purpose of the work to improve the geotechnical methods of mining mineral deposits due to the substantiation of the parameters of thermal action on solid carbonaceous raw materials, which is a binary mixture of coal and rock, to increase the output of the gas phase. Research methods. The work will use a complex method, which contains an analysis and synthesis of literary sources to substantiate the feasibility of carrying out thermal action on solid carbonaceous raw materials for the gas phase production; mathematical modeling of physico-chemical processes of thermal action taking into account the properties of the mining medium and process parameters; experimental research on determining the properties of the rock mass to assess the degree of influence of the parameters of thermal action on the number of components and composition of the gas phase; processing of research results by methods of mathematical statistics. The scientific significance of the work is to determine the dependences of changes in the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the gas phase on the ratio of components of the binary composition and the temperature of the process, which will justify the rational parameters of the thermal action on solid carbonaceous raw materials. The practical value of the work is to determine the factors, which cause to increase of the processes efficiency of physical and chemical transformations of solid carbonaceous raw materials for obtain a gas phase with a high content of combustible components. Field of application. The results of the work should be used in developing recommendations on the effective use of thermal action on solid carbonaceous raw materials in coal mines, concentrating factories, in design and research institutes dealing with the problems of increasing the efficiency of carbon monoxide mining, the development and implementation of new and improved existing geotechnologies of extraction and coal processing, as well as in higher educational institutions of mining profile.
