The subject of the study is an early-modern individual between legislative norms, real social practices and creating the strategy for one's own life. The aim of the project is to provide a source corpus for the research which provides prospects for studying the motivational foundations of behavioural strategies, aspirations, interests, experiences and life joys of individuals and large social groups (gender, governmental, family, professional, ethnic), common everyday trends of structural innovations, and changes occurring in a particular society. The novelty of the project is in the study of the everyday life, which had not previously been given priority, of various social strata of the Ukrainian population of the 17th century. In particular, the research investigates such issues: 1) the model of the nobility's family structure and the nobility's economical complex - households; 2) the titulature model which was used in chancellery sources to denote the higher layers of pre-modern society; 3) the material aspects of the life of that time (the culture of the dwelling, clothing, nutrition; 4) a database of diseases, the methods of the medical process, and the remedies of that time. The practical value of the obtained results is the receipt of a new, previously unknown knowledge about the daily life of the people of the early modern era. This new knowledge is presupposed to be included in the curricula of universities' and schools' historical and cultural subjects.
