The object of the study was the process of clustering in the Ukrainian economy. During this work general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge, such as: combination of analysis and synthesis, factorial and structure-functional analysis, methods of comparison and logical generalization, indexes, time series, graphic methods, grouping methods and expert evaluations, mathematical modelling, programming, were used. According to the results of the research methodological principles of modelling the efficiency of transportation and logistics enterprises clustering and transportation and logistics clusters functioning are developed to determine the integral indicators of economic, social, ecological, and innovative efficiency, and are based on the economic and mathematical model that allows to implement a large number of combinations of the types of transportation and logistics clusters development strategies, in particular through the binary or ternary combination, due to a complex of activities of economic, ecological, social, and innovative direction, which affect the level of integral effectiveness.
