The object of research is the magnetic field (MF) of cable high-voltage transmission lines (CL). The purpose of the project is to develop the main provisions of the Manual "Designing cable lines with voltage up to 330 kV" in terms of ensuring their environmental safety by magnetic field. Research methods - mathematical and computer simulation of the magnetic field of high-voltage cable power lines, experimental studies of magnetic field distribution of cable lines on laboratory models using a vector 3D magnetometer. In the course of the project, the modern world experience in the design of high-voltage CL with contour and flat electromagnetic shields was analyzed and the methods and means of contour shielding were recognized as the most promising ones; well-known methods and means of contour shielding of MF CL have been studied and ways of their improvement have been determined; new two-loop and single-loop shielding systems for CL have been proposed, having an experimentally confirmed shielding factor of 5-10 units with a reduced by 20-30% in comparison with the best world samples of the number of structural elements and limiting the thermal effect of the screen on the CL; a technique has been developed for calculating the magnetic field of a CL with contour screens and its experimental verification has been carried out; the main provisions of the section "Environmental safety of cable lines" of the normative document of the Ministry of Energy "Designing of cable lines with voltage up to 330 kV" are developed and transferred to NEC Ukrenergo in the part of reducing the magnetic field induction along the CL due to the use of improved contour screens.
