At the same time, valve dysfunction in the remote period was more frequent in this group. It is shown that the most favorable anatomical variant for plastic interference is the isolated lesion of the segment P2 of the posterior leaf, and with its defeat of the anterior or two valve openings, its prosthesis is preferred. There is a clear dependence on the preservation of sinus rhythm in the long term period and the stability of good and satisfactory results in both groups. Accordingly, in the course of the complex reconstruction of the left departments (preservation of subvalvular space during prosthetics, restoration of sinus rhythm, reduction of the left atrium with its atriomegali), the results of the remote operations were better in both groups than in the isolated correction of the valve defect.
