The subject of the research: the features of the "psychotherapist-client" relationship in crisis psychotraumatic circumstances and the patterns of the formation of their effective models for psychotherapeutic assistance to the victims. The purpose of the study: to determine the specificity of the "psychotherapist-client" relationship in crisis traumatic circumstances; to clarify the characteristics and conditions for the formation of therapeutic relationships that are favorable for overcoming the consequences of psychotrauma, and in the treatment of various categories of victims. Research methods: theoretical analysis, comparative analysis, systematization, generalization; observation, questioning, testing; methods of experimental psychosemantics; analysis of the practice of crisis counseling and psychotherapy; analysis of product activities. Results: the specifics of the manifestation of the main phenomena of psychotherapeutic interaction in situations of rendering assistance to people who survived severe stressful events were elucidated. Specific features of the formation of helping, favorable for solving problems of overcoming the consequences of psychotrauma, therapeutic relationships in working with different categories of victims. The peculiarities of negative emotional states of volunteers-psychologists / psychotherapists, taking place in work with victims, and factors influencing their occurrence and exacerbation are revealed. Classification of types and forms of mass-media communication in the system of "psychologist-population" is carried out; identified the most appropriate of them for different categories of victims, as well as factors affecting their effectiveness.
