Particular attention was paid to the effect of acceleration and inhibition on the parameters of separation currents for poorly streamlined bodies with fixed and floating point of flow separation. It is shown that acceleration leads to laminarization of the flow, and inhibition - to increase the zone of separation currents. The influence of the history of nonstationary motion on the parameters of separating currents, in particular, acceleration from rest or acceleration from a state of constant motion, is also investigated. It is shown that the alternation of acceleration and inhibition periods is an effective means of controlling the flow of separation.
