The purpose of the work is to replenish the national information fund of Ukraine with current state and retrospective bibliographic resources, providing international exchange of bibliographic information, providing society with analytical information and providing methodological assistance on the bibliographic description of various types of documents. Methods of research are analytical and synthetic processing, system analysis, bibliographic detection, selection, monitoring, bibliometric analysis, bibliographic characteristics, grouping. Research results: current bibliographic databases: electronic catalogs of non-periodic, periodic (except for newspapers) and continuing publications in 2017, newspapers for 2016, state bibliography for 2016-2017; new editions of the lists: newspapers, the publications of which were included in the database "Chronicle of Magazine Articles" in 2017, journals, periodical and continuing collections, publications of which were included in the database "Chronicle of Magazine Articles" in 2017; the list of "Special cases of abbreviations of words and phrases in bibliographic records" (2nd ed., corrected.); thematic bibliographic databases of publications in the republic of Belarus on Belarusian language for 2017; consolidated databases of bibliographic information updated by information for 2017; Retrospective databases of publications from the State Archive: periodicals of 1959, visual and cartographic 1949; Edited database of book editions in Hebrew and Yiddish languages 1917-1931; methodical recommendations for the compilation of a bibliographic record for books and brochures for catalogs and card files (2nd ed.), methodical recommendations for the compilation of a bibliographic record for abstracts of dissertations (3rd edition), the instruction "Using the Universal Decimal classifications for the formation of the structure of bibliographic indicators"; The State Archive Fund was enlarged with 60 editions of 1991-2005; analytical theme reviews; annual reports. Scientific novelty: it is for the first time in Ukraine there were created databases of the state bibliography of all types of editions for 2016-2017; the database of publications on the Republic of Belarus for 2017 was formed; analytical reviews were developed on the basis of bibliometric analysis of the databases of the state bibliography of books, dissertations dissertations and journal articles of 2016, instructional and methodological documents on the bibliographical description of books and brochures, abstracts of dissertations, abbreviations in the bibliographic description and the formation of the structure of bibliographic indexes. The Research results are intended for use by: state authorities, libraries, higher educational establishments, publishing houses, scientific institutions, the National Book Chamber of Belarus, other users of information in Ukraine and abroad.
