Methods: information analytics, scientometric, qualimetric analysis, content analysis, statistical and patent statistics. Results: state and trends of development of research work in the field of health care for children and adolescents within the period from 2001 to 2016 have been determined on the basis of scientometric indexes (number, thematic orientation, dynamics, terms of implementation, most developed directions); Qualimetric analysis of information and innovation resources has been conducted; perspective directions of further research have been demonstrated; trends of development of scientific communications in the field, their use and role in the transfer of medical technologies have been determined ; the level of use of a scientific product have been determined. The method of qualimetric estimation of non-commercial transfer of scientific product has been offered. Novelty: new data on the state and trends of the development of scientific research in the field of pediatrics, school and adolescent medicine have been obtained for long period (2001-2016); Qualimetric estimation of research work efficiency have be performed on the basis of their publication and information components, the method for qualimetric estimation of non-commercial transfer of scientific product have been create.
