THERMOELECTRIC CONVERTER, HUMAN HEAT RELEASE, THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION OF HUMAN THERMAL ENERGY, COMPUTER SIMULATION, LOW-POWER ELECTRONIC MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. The object of investigation are thermal and electrical processes that take place at the interaction of thermoelectric converter with human body; heat exchange processes in human organism; mechanisms of human heat production; distributions of heat fluxes on the surface of human organism and their use for electric energy generation; internal human heat fluxes and thermodynamics of their conversion into electric energy. The purpose of work is to establish and determine the the regularities of thermoelectric conversion of human thermal energy, to clear out the peculiarities of influence of thermoelectric converters on human organism. Investigation methods include methods of mathematical physics for determination of the distribution of physical fields in the biological tissue of human body and in the working medium of thermoelectric converters, object-oriented computer simulation of thermal processes, computational methods, experimental methods of thermoelectricity and thermal physics. The theory of thermodynamics of thermoelectric conversion of human energy is developed. The physical models of biological tissue with thermoelectric energy converters are built and their mathematical description is performed. Object-oriennted computer simulation is used to determine the regularities of distributions of human organism heat fluxes. The values of intergral characteristics of human organims heat release are defined. The physical models of thermoelectric converters for power supply to low-power electronic medical equipment are built and studied. Computer methods for simulation of of thermophysical processes in the biological tissue are developed with regard to blood circulation and metabolism. Computer methods for design of thermoelectric converters of human heat energy are developed. The local distributions of temperature and heat flux density lines in human biological tissue and thermoelectric converter are obtained. Designs of low-power electronic medical equipment with thermoelectric power supplies using human heat are developed, and optimization of these designs is performed to reach maximum efficiency. The breadboard models of low-power electronic medical equipment using human heat are developed and manufactured, and integrated testing of such equipment is performed. The thermoelectric medical equipment, created on the basis of fundamental research, outperforms known world analogs and increases the competitiveness of inland manufacture.
