Under conditions of field and laboratory of Myronivka Institute of Wheat of NAAS the estimation of morphological and physiological status of plants with 5 promising lines and 5 varieties of winter bread wheat was conducted. Features of formation of tiller number and size of growth cone during the І-ІІІ stages of organogenesis were revealed. The prognosis of potential productivity based on spiklet number per spike was counted. The model of spike with elements of potential and real productivity correlation was developed.
