Purpose of the study: the goal is to determine experimentally the aerodynamic loads on the model of a particular product in specific starting conditions for the action of the wind, the velocity profile of which is formed by a nearby terrain of a certain type. Improvement and application of new experimental equipment to improve the effectiveness of experimental research. Research methods and equipment: experimental methods of physical modeling in a wind tunnel; methods of preparation and adaptation of test objects to experimental studies; 6-component electrotensometric Libra; application in a weight experiment of a new approach to determine the aerodynamic characteristics of the object of research, namely, the use of rod tensometric weights with an information-measuring complex and other means, a technique for using them in a pipe ex-periment; automated system for collecting and processing information of drainage and weight test-ing; identification of aerodynamic characteristics. Theoretical and practical results: - a separate information and measuring complex was created, software for measuring and in-itial processing of experimental data on the study of aerodynamic characteristics of the model under ground launch conditions, which are obtained with the use of intra-model rod tensors; - integral and local aerodynamic characteristics of model at the launching stage of flight un-der the condition of wind action and in the presence of service facilities, depending on the type of terrain chosen, obtained with drainage and weight studies using 6-component electrotensometric weights and rod tensors ; - draft methodology for the experimental determination of aerodynamic loads on the re-search object, using the created information-measuring complex; - project of a technique for determining stationary integral and local aerodynamic loads on the model under conditions of wind action at the start Novelty: - integral aerodynamic characteristics of the model, stationary and non-stationary compo-nents of local pressure factors on the surface of model under wind action in conditions of ground launch, as well as the profile of air velocity in the presence of starter structures in accordance with the selected type of terrain Efficiency of implementation: is determined by increasing the safety level of under ground launch conditions in the presence of maintenance facilities at the initial stage of the flight. Area of use: development of new ground launch systems, taking into account the data ob-tained, to assess limitations on the launch of, development of recommendations regarding the rela-tive location of and launch facilities and to clarify the dynamics of movement during the start phase.
