Research methods and equipment - the research was conducted using monographic, analytical methods, standard and heuristic methods of research of jet fuels' physical and chemical, operating and environmental properties, and special authors chemmotological and methodological fundamentals of testing basic properties of new highly efficient biocomponents of blended jet fuels. The research work was performed using the following equipment: thermostat "Gradient-2", automatic titrator 702 SM Titrino, laboratory electronic scales AVT 220-5 DM, ARNP, device for determination of temperature of crystallization beginning, laboratory and industrial reactors, semi-industrial and industrial stoves, other analytical laboratory equipment, PC ASUS P 5 GC - MX/1333 with access to the Internet, PC ASUS P 5 GZ - MX with access to the Internet. Theoretical and practical results: - physical and chemical properties of Camelina sativa oil have been investigated; - the project of production technology of environmentally safe biocomponents of jet fuels on the basis of Camelina sativa oil has been developed; - the molecular structure and properties of environmentally safe biocomponents of Camelina sativa oil have been investigated; - the characteristics of physical and chemical properties of environmentally safe jet fuels, modified with biocomponents on the basis of Camelina sativa has been developed; - the characteristics of operating properties of environmentally safe jet fuels, modified with biocomponents on the basis of Camelina sativa has been developed; - the characteristics of environmental properties of jet fuels, modified with biocomponents on the basis of Camelina sativa has been developed; - the compounding of environmentally safe jet fuels, modified with biocomponents on the basis of Camelina sativa in amount to 50% has been developed; - the pre-production models of environmentally safe jet fuels modified with biotcomponents on the basis of Camelina sativa have been developed; - the compounding of alternative motor fuels for aviation piston engines with 15 % ethanol has been developed; - the compounding of alternative motor fuels for aviation piston engines with 15 % methanol has been developed; - the compounding of alternative motor fuels for aviation piston engines with 15 % butanol has been developed; - the pre-production models of jet fuels with the optimized amount of aliphatic alcohols have been described; - the comparative description of physical and chemical and operating properties of petrol for aviation piston engine with different content of aliphatic alcohols have been developed; - the method of determination of metrological parameters of standard samples of fuel has been developed; - the recommendations for the enhancement of environmental safety of piston aircrafts using alternative motor fuels have been developed . The scientific novelty is modification of blended jet fuel biocomponents based on the raw material of domestic production. Efficiency of implementation - Results of research are implemented in the educational process of the Department of ecology in the new lecture materials and laboratory works for the training students of Bachelor and Master Degree program 101 "Ecology" and 161 "Chemical technologies", that will create new competencies of the graduates in accordance with international requirements. The results of this work must promote further development of scientific bases of jet fuels chemmotology, energy saving technologies and rational and efficient application of alternative fuels and lubricating materials. Sphere (industry) of application - the practical results of the research are suitable for implementation in the jet fuels supply system, machine-building industry, agriculture, chemical-technological industry.
