Research purpose: on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of archival documents, to investigate the specifics of the processes of historical document creation in the context of the formation and functioning of state institutions in the Ukrainian lands during the XV century – beginning of XX century who produced the NAH documents. Research methods: conceptual, historical, logical, systemic, modeling, historiographic cognition, classification (typological), functional analysis, historical-genetic, historical-chronological, historical-comparative, source-study analysis and source-study synthesis. Results and their novelty: The research is being implemented in Ukraine for the first time and its results envisage the development of a handbook on the history of the NAH archives creators. The research of the sphere of historical documents creation substantially expands the possibilities of scientific studying of the origination and formation of the documentation systems created by the institutions in the process of their activity and reformation. Research significance: the research implementation will contribute to the improvement of the basic processes and technologies for the NAH documents processing in archival institutions of Ukraine, methods of archival heuristics and source study criticism.
