The purpose of the work is to provide the management bodies of the branch and scientific researches in oncology with timely, reliable and complete information through wide use of information technology of the registry chancer. Methods of research - medical informatics, descriptive epidemiology, mathematical statistics, information modeling. The research was conducted to expand the use of the information technology of the National Chancellery Register not only to study the oncopidemiological situation in the country, but also to assess the state of the organization of anti-cancer struggle in Ukraine and its individual regions. The main parameters characterizing data quality in NKR are studied: completeness, reliability and timeliness of information receipt. It has been established that according to the established criteria NKR information meets the requirements of the International Agency for Research on Cancer and the International Association of Chanceries Registers, as evidenced by the inclusion of Ukraine in the two latest publications of the Cancer Center in Cancer incidence in five continents. In 2015, an automated procedure for encoding childhood cancer by classification ICCC-3 was implemented in the NKR software, which created the prerequisites and technical ability to receive ICCC-3 codes for all records available in the NKR, to present Ukraine's data for international research and inclusion in the " International Incidence of Childhood Cancer, Volume III. The automated technology of data linking between registers of different levels was developed for clarification and expansion of NKR information. The method of calculating the survival rate based on the canter-register database as a integral criterion for assessing the state of oncological care to the population is scientifically substantiated. It was established that the level of neglect of the malignant process, the lethality of the year and the coverage of special treatment for cancer patients in the vast majority of regions does not correspond to the magnitude of the 5-year survival rate; the level of lethality to a year in 1,5-2,0 times exceeds the level of abandonment of detected cases of cancer, which indicates an artificial low level of the identified cases of disease or non-compliance with medical standards; the main nosological forms of cancer, the 5-year population survival rate in Ukraine is 1.5-3.0 times lower than in Europe; the most striking difference between the indicators of 5-year survival is registered in patients with prostate cancer, whose magnitude in Europe exceeds 90.0%, and in Ukraine does not approach 60.0%, while in some areas it does not reach 25.0 % Product Description popup.authors Горох Є.Л.
