The specialties of the legal protection of certain objects of intellectual property right, which are used and distributed on the Internet, and also ensure its functioning, are revealed; the nature and features of counterfeiting, piracy and plagiarism via the Internet are determined. The contractual principles of the intellectual property rights usage via the Internet, including conditions of free public licenses, have been analyzed. The provisions concerning the main principles of interaction between authors (rightholders) and users as well as the state has been improved.
