Methods of advocatology, as well as directions of practical application of scientific research results have been determined. The concept of further development of functional and organizational foundations of bar and improvement of the current legislation on it and advocacy is proposed. The essence of the prosecutor's office function, their normative definition, genesis in the process of judicial and legal reform, the next stage of which is closely linked with the adoption of amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine from 02.06.2016, have been distinguished and analyzed; the content description of the channels of functional interaction between the Prosecutor General's Office and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption in the context of the development of the corruption prevention in Ukraine is presented, the main issues in this area are described. The legal character of the decisions of the Supreme Court regarding the granting of decisions is analyzed in a precedent manner. It is substantiated that the decrease of the supervisory functions of the prosecutor's office significantly affected the status of the prosecutor's system of Ukraine, causing its drift to the judiciary. The existing problem issues of functional interaction of officials of the prosecutor's offices with other state bodies, including executive power, courts, and judicial self-government, both in the performing of supervisory and non-observance functions, are disclosed.
